About
Annie Jenkins

Annie Jenkins is an artist local to Huntsville, Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Dallas.
At age six, Annie's mother taught her the basic proportions of the face. Since then, she has been fascinated with portraiture and figure drawing. At a young age, she turned to the masters of art history for inspiration and guidance.
Annie has found that much of being an artist involves learning how to identify the beautiful. Training our eyes and hearts to notice when Beauty touches our own lives and the lives of others is an extraordinary privilege, one that must not be taken for granted. During her undergraduate studies, Annie explored the question "what is beauty" in depth. In her postgraduate life, her love for Truth, Goodness, and Beauty has only grown stronger. Her art is one way in which she attempts to focus on these realities in her daily life.
Annie specializes in creating commission portraits and graphite reproductions of works made during certain periods of art history. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact her at annie.jenkins.art@gmail.com for more information.
